Autoplot - Downloads

Windows

The following installer does not require Admistrator rights. Since it only registers file associations for the current account, installation as administrator is not recommended.

Download ⇩ Autoplot, 64-bit Windows-10 with JVM Built-in, .exe installer

This installer was signed using a standard code-signing certificate, not an EV certificate. Until enough downloads occur, you will get the following message during install:

Windows protected your PC
Windows Defender SmartScreen prevented an unrecognized app from stating. Running this app might put your PC at risk.

Go ahead and select "More info" and click "Run anyway".

MacOS

The following MacOS package can be used without administrator rights, though it can be installed system-wide if admin rights are available.

Linux

Check to see if OpenJDK version 11 or higher is installed:

$ java -version
If necessary install it via your package manager:
$ sudo yum install java-11-openjdk             # CentOS, RedHat
$ sudo apt install openjdk-11-jdk              # Ubuntu, Debian
Download the latest jumbo-jar into some directory on your $PATH, for example:
cd $HOME/bin
wget https://das2.org/autoplot/build/linux/autoplot.jar
mv autoplot.jar autoplot
chmod 0755 autoplot
The jumbo-jar distribution has a Bourne shell prefix, thus it can be run like any other unix command. To run Autoplot, just type autoplot at the command line.
